Anthony Joshua isn't thinking about Tyson Fury as the world champion prepares for a tricky test against Oleksandr Uzyk

According to Rob Madden, Anthony Joshua has put Tyson Fury's failed confrontation behind him as he prepares for his clash against Oleksandr Usyk.

AJ was scheduled to take on his British counterpart in a multimillion-pound undisputed title fight for heavyweight this weekend. Fury was then ordered to fight Deontay Wilder in a three-fight series.

AJ is now putting Tyson Fury's failed fight in the past behind him.

Joshua is currently preparing for the September defense of his unified titles against undefeated Usyk. He is solely focused on defeating the former undisputed cruiserweight champ.

Madden stated to The Daily Mail that he was not going to lie and that it was disappointing for all. I was disappointed. AJ clearly so.

"He was ready, and he wanted it. We were planning for it. This is boxing. It's full on politics.

"Fury is not in our thoughts right now. He can do what's necessary and we'll be there when he needs us.

"But Usyk, a tough opponent, demands respect - which AJ and his team have.

"And keeping your eyes on Usyk is key, as he is not an unknown fighter. You know boxing well enough to know that Usyk is an extremely talented fighter."

Joshua, 31, launched an aggressive attack on Fury following the collapse of the long-awaited Battle of Britain. He tweeted: "@Tyson_Fury, the world now sees that you are a fraud. You've let boxing down!

"You lied to fans and led them on. I was not fighting, but clout.

"Bring me any champion fighter who can manage their business properly."

The unified champion is now delighted to give Usyk, a fellow Olympic gold medallist, his first professional loss.

He stated, "The date has been set and we are fully locked into.

"September 25, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. I put it all on line again, and it's now time to defend my crown.

"We are two Olympic gold medallists, who have fought to the top and never given up on challenges.

"The stadium is extraordinary, the atmosphere will electric, it's an honor to be the first to fight in such a awe-inspiring arena.

"The stage has been set, and I'm ready to take care of business."
