ANTHONY JOSHUA was offered the chance to train with legendary boxing coach Freddie Roach in preparation for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
After his September Usyk schooling, AJ feels more pressure to fire Rob McCracken, his long-time trainer.
Anthony Joshua was urged by Rob McCracken to leave his coach
Roach, a Hall-of Fame coach, would be happy to welcome Joshua to the Wild Card gym.
The 61-year old told iFL TV that she knew where her gym was.
"I do occasionally run into him, he's an interesting character, and all he has to do is return home, I've told his me."
Joshua, 32, is fully aware of McCracken's calls to him to leave, but he plans to stay with Team GB coach.
The former unified heavyweight champion told iFL TV that he was a man and had to do the right thing for him.
Rob and I talk about it. Rob, as a man agrees that it's good to me. He'll tell me 'champ' if it's right for him.
Rob is not a controlling person. He's laid back and happy to see the progress of what's necessary.
Joshua will try to reclaim the unified Heavyweight titles from the undefeated Usyk in the early part of next year.
The Watford warrior will take the slick Southpaw's soul' in their blockbuster match.
He said to iFL TV, "I'm done f***ing losing." I'm done trying to learn sweet science.
"The referee may be thrown to the ground in the next fight, because this is war.
It's just war. I get annoyed. It's the passion to win that makes me boil up, even talking about it.
Joshua said, "He's been to 400 amateur fights. He's seen people rough him up millions of times. So to try to adapt one style to another is foolish."
"But, for me, that's one thing in my head, that is war, that’s murder, That's War, let's get out there and hurt that guy.
"Take his soul until he is ready to give up. That's boxing, that's what I know.
"You should hit people repeatedly, and keep applying pressure until they realize you aren’t going anywhere. You’re here to stay.
"With the gameplan, that's all that I have at the moment, that one track. Stay on track, take this guy places he doesn’t want to."
