Undisputed Heavyweight Champion
Anthony Joshua has revealed his pick for the upcoming superfight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. The fight, scheduled for February 17, will see all four WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO belts on the line, potentially crowning an undisputed heavyweight champion for the first time in 25 years.
Supporting Usyk
Despite the potential for a future bout against Fury, Joshua has thrown his support behind Usyk. He cited the disrespectful comments made by Fury towards him as the reason for his choice. Joshua stated, "That would make me a lunatic and I'm pretty level-headed, so I'm going to go with the person who shows me respect."
Future Fight Possibilities
When asked if he would still be interested in facing Fury if Usyk wins, Joshua expressed his willingness for the matchup. However, he acknowledged that time is running out for a highly anticipated all-British clash. Joshua also mentioned the possibility of fights against Deontay Wilder or Joseph Parker.
With Joshua's upcoming fight against Otto Wallin on December 23, a win could potentially solidify his chances for a future bout against Fury.
