Torrez was awarded a silver medal in the super-heavyweight category at the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Torrez feels he can help Joshua, even though Usyk is now a heavyweight fighter in the cruiserweight division.

Torrez spoke out ahead of Friday's fight against Roberto Zavala Jr.: "I was hoping Anthony Joshua would hit my up to spar because i kind of have an Usyk-style.

"How it happens is how you see it happen, that's all I can say.

"If any of these heavyweights would like to spar me or get a look at me, I'm more than willing to do so."

AJ was offered the opportunity to spar with Torrez, but he admitted that AJ is leaning towards Usyk when it comes down to choosing a winner.

They will be fighting in Saudi Arabia on 20 August, with Usyk's WBA and WBO world titles at stake.

Torrez added: "Usyk’s movement, his movement lateral, his feints - everything like that, it’s unrivalled right now.

Anthony Joshua is the best shot because he lets his punches go. He must let his punches go. He has the shots and the power.

"Anthony Joshua has that power forever. He will hurt if he lands. I believe he can be more effective with his punches, and have more combinations. I think it will be an exciting fight.

"Honestly, right now I lean towards Usyk."

With a 12-round masterclass at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September, the Ukrainian took AJ's belts off of him.

AJ wants to be a three-time champion at heavyweight when they meet again next month. And even if he loses, the Watford-born fighter does not intend to retire anytime soon.
