DAVID PRICE informed Anthony Joshua that Oleksandr Uzyk has 'got it' and that he will need to be "really lucky" to win the rematch.

After a 12-round masterclass by Usyk in September, AJ was stripped of the WBA and IBF heavyweight titles.

Joshua, 32, has invoked his right for an immediate rematch, and could be able to get his revenge shot by April.

Price, his sparring partner from the past, believes that AJ will need to make some money in order to regain his unified belts.

TalkSPORT was informed by him that Usyk had his number.

"Every fighter has an opponent who is a certain style of fighting, and that particular man in particular. You're going to need to be very lucky to win the fight."

"You can be luck, but luck can also be made by mistakes by the opponent. I don't think Usyk will make the mistake that puts him in a position where he could be knocked out with an Anthony Joshua punch.

"I think that he is too switched-on, I think that he has too sharp, it's almost like he thinks two, three steps ahead of everyone else all the time.

"I don’t believe Anthony Joshua can handle that."

Joshua's contract rematch meant that Tyson Fury (33) was unable to unify his belts with Usyk (34) in an undisputed title decider.

Price, 38, claims that only Joe Joyce, 36, and Fury, a former rival, were capable of solving the Oleksandr Usyk puzzle.

He stated: "The only man that I can see beating Uysk, some might laugh at this – Tyson Fury is obviously because he has an unconventional way to find a way win.

"It's not a textbook fight that a well-trained fighter can read. His unique fighting style and the other person with a similar fighting style to him are what make Joe Joyce a great engine.

"I believe big Joe Joyce can cause Usyk issues with his size and strength. He is also unusual in how he fights, throwing, and even throwing.

"Out of Uysk, Fury, there are two men who have lost their way since they were children.

"But Fury just seems to find a way to win every single time, and I will continue to support him."
