EDDIE HEARN has revealed that Anthony Joshua was unsure of himself before he faced Oleksandr Usyk in September.
Before being outboxed by the Ukrainian over 12 rounds, the 32-year-old ex-heavyweight champion sought advice from his head of security about his gameplan.

Hearn, AJ's promoter, has now revealed the Watford-born fighter's conversation with security chief Clifton Mitchell and Mitchell about the fight.
According to the promoter, Joshua heard too many voices before facing Usyk.
True Geordie's pain game podcast, he said that there was too much information and too few points of view.
"When he enters the ring, Clifton Mitchell is his head of security and he is a former heavyweight champion.
"And he enters the ring, and starts talking with him about the fight. "That is an indication that there is not confidence in the gameplan or what you should do.
"If you know what you need to do, and you can't do it, then you won't be f ****** told in the one-minute break between rounds.
"AJ's problem is that he is intelligent, but he must know that he has the strategy right. He needs to be prepared for repetition."
