Anthony Joshua Shares Heartwarming Moment with Andy Ruiz Jr After Crushing Win

AJ Shows Class

Anthony Joshua displayed his sportsmanship by embracing former opponent Andy Ruiz Jr following his victory over Otto Wallin.

Impressive Win

Joshua stopped Wallin in the fifth round with a dominant performance at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Reunion at Ringside

After his win, Joshua walked to the edge of the ring and called over Ruiz, who took his world championship belt in 2019. The two embraced and shared a heartfelt moment.

Good Terms

Despite their history, Joshua and Ruiz are clearly on good terms. Ruiz smiled and gave a thumbs up during their interaction.

Third World Title

Joshua is determined to become a world champion for the third time after his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. His victory over Wallin brings him closer to his goal.

Impressive Stats

Joshua landed 53 punches in just five rounds, compared to Wallin's 25. The fight was stopped after Wallin suffered a suspected broken nose.

Fans Applaud Joshua

Many fans were impressed with Joshua's performance, especially since he was able to do what Tyson Fury couldn't – stop Wallin.

Next Opponent

While Joshua was expected to fight Deontay Wilder next, Wilder's loss to Joseph Parker may change his plans. Joshua could instead turn his attention to Filip Hrgovic.
