ANTHONY JOSHUA was urged to follow Mike Tyson's lead if he wants to beat Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
AJ is currently preparing to fight Usyk, having lost his world heavyweight belts last month to the Ukrainian.
Anthony Joshua was urged by Ronnie Shields, a trainer in America
Joshua is currently in the USA looking for a trainer.
Ronnie Shields is a boxing legend who has seen him since he was a child. He worked alongside Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson.
AJ also met in Texas with Dominick Guinn, Shields' assistant.
He believes Joshua will be able to reclaim his belts from Usyk by linking up with Shields. This would create a highly anticipated division unifier against British rival Fury.
Guinn stated to MyBettingSites that Ronnie is an ex-champion, and that he's a former fighter. However, I have never won a world title.
"I believe Ronnie has at least 30 world champions with him and I have been in the ring alongside a lot of guys.
"Ronnie has worked with Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson so I know you will have the best experience if [AJ] comes to Houston, Texas.
There are many places he could travel, but I think Houston would be the best for him in terms of learning and pushing him to his next level.
"If he does come, I expect a great performance in the rematch. I also predict Fury winning the WBC title.
"He already has all the tools. You just need to find the right person who can bring them out.
"We'll bring out the dog in him, the killer in him. Help him to remember what it was like before he won his first title. Before he beat Charles Martin. And got that first belt. He felt the same hunger when he won his first title.
"There is always a place and a time for change. I don't know his staff. If I were in his shoes, however, I would make a significant change.
"You've dealt with the same people for so many years and they can only take your so far. Now it's up you to him to make a change.
"He needs to see the world, and I believe it would be wonderful for him to visit the United States.
