Eddie Hearn, Canelo Alvarez and Eddy Reynoso are the promoters.

He was seen posing with Canelo at the Mexican's adopted US training facility in San Diego, where he lives with Eddy Reynoso, cornerman and manager.

Eddie Hearn, their promoter, was also present as the champion of four divisions, aged 31, and prepared to fight Caleb Plant (29), on November 6.

AJ made a visit to Joshua Buatsi, who he manages - at his Los Angeles camp for light-heavyweights with Virgil Hunter.

After Joshua's loss in 12 rounds to Usyk, 34-year-old Joshua was faced with calls to replace his training staff.

These same doubts were raised in June 2019 when he lost against Andy Ruiz Jr., but he won the rematch six years later.

After cleverly switching tactics to outbox Ruiz (32), he was rewarded for his loyalty when he won the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.

Joshua, 32, is not expected to part ways with Rob McCracken, his trusted coach who led him twice to Olympic gold and unified titles.

Before Ruiz's defeat, AJ brought in Joby Clayton and Angel Fernandez as additional trainers.

Joshua will benefit from the knowledge of American coaches before he fights Usyk again.

Hearn confirmed that he has invoked his right for an immediate rematch. The target date is March or April.

The promoter didn't rule out any new faces in his training team to solve the Usyk puzzle. He is undefeated in 19 fights.

Boxing Social was told by Hearn that AJ would like to analyze why he performed as he did.

"Yeah, the tactics were wrong, he underperformed. But why?

It's hard to just say "He didn't know the tactics and he underperformed," because let's not forget about Usyk's brilliance.

"AJ will never forget to look at his preparation and learn from it.

"If it's about changing things, looking at bringing in people, or whatever he has to do, he will."
