Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin fight purse: How much money will both fighters earn for Saudi fight?

As the highly anticipated clash between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin approaches, fans are eager to know just how much these fighters will be taking home from their showdown in Saudi Arabia. While the exact figures are being kept under wraps by Saudi boxing chiefs, we can still give you a glimpse into the potential earnings for both Joshua and Wallin.

How much will Anthony Joshua earn?

Despite the secrecy surrounding the fight purses, it is estimated that Anthony Joshua, 34, will earn approximately £8 million from his bout against Wallin. However, this amount pales in comparison to the staggering £40 million that Joshua is expected to earn from his next two fights, including a potential face-off with Deontay Wilder in March.

Wilder himself has hinted at the massive payday, stating, "Everyone will get in the ring for the right price, especially when there is over $50 million (£40 million) on the table. The time is finally here and people are going to get what they have wanted for years."

How much will Otto Wallin earn?

While the exact earnings for Otto Wallin are unclear, it is unlikely that he will surpass his opponent's payday. Wallin reportedly earned just under £200,000 in his fight against Tyson Fury in 2019. However, thanks to the Saudi-backed purse, Wallin can expect to at least double that figure for his clash with Joshua.

What is each fighter's net worth?

Anthony Joshua has amassed a staggering net worth of over £200 million throughout his career, solidifying his status as one of boxing's wealthiest athletes. In contrast, Wallin's net worth is estimated to be a more modest £1 million. This significant difference in wealth also translates to a stark contrast in their lifestyles.

While the final figures for Joshua and Wallin's fight purses remain a mystery, it is clear that both fighters stand to earn significant sums from their high-profile clash in Saudi Arabia. Boxing enthusiasts around the world eagerly await the outcome of this thrilling showdown.
