Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius: What will each man earn for the huge O2 fight between these two men?

Anthony Joshua is set to go head-to-head with Robert Helenius this Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.

Cancelled Rematch

The original main event of the night was supposed to be a rematch between Joshua and Dillian Whyte.

Unfortunately, the rematch had to be canceled after Whyte's VADA testing returned an 'adverse finding'.

Joshua Returns

This Saturday's fight will mark Joshua's first appearance since his points victory over Jermaine Franklin in April.

Helenius, on the other hand, fought just last week in Finland, where he secured a TKO win against Mika Mielonen.

The Big Question: How Much are they Being Paid?

So, how much will these two fighters be earning for their highly anticipated showdown at the O2 Arena?

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the exact payout for the rivals.

However, reports suggest that there will be a total purse of £9.5 million up for grabs.

Specifically, Anthony Joshua is expected to receive a guaranteed fee of £8 million, while Robert Helenius will reportedly take home £1.5 million.

AJ was also due to earn a significant amount from the pay-per-view (PPV) sales if the fight with Dillian Whyte had gone ahead.

However, since the initial bout was canceled, the Joshua vs Helenius match is not considered big enough for PPV and will be available to DAZN's standard subscription holders.

According to AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn, "We are taking the fight off pay-per-view.

"The financial difference for Joshua in this fight is astounding, but he wants to fight, and in terms of non pay-per-view cards, I think this is one of the strongest we've ever done."
