OLEKSANDRUSYK will "fight for the whole democracy world" when he faces Anthony Joshua.

As a beacon for hope in his war-torn homeland that has been engulfed by illegal Russian invasion, the undefeated Ukrainian joins his summer showdown against AJ.

The slick southpaw's second encounter with the British boxing legend is more than just a maiden defense of the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles.

Alexander Krassyuk, the promoter, told Rob Tebbut that he is not fighting for his own interests.

The former undisputed cruiserweight king Usyk, now 35, has established a foundation to aid those who have been displaced by war.

Krassyuk stated: "He knows that he fights at an exclusive high level.

"The entire world will be watching this fight, and any messages he sends out to the world will be accepted.

"A portion of that money we're now working on a strategy for funding some extraordinary money to Ukraine to aid Ukrainian refugees, to assist Ukrainian people to survive and remain strong in these difficult times."

Usyk fought against the Russians, but was allowed to leave the warzone in preparation for his second dance with AJ.

The proud Ukrainian had to leave his homeland.

Krassyuk stated that it was a difficult decision to leave Ukraine. Extremely difficult.

"[But] his ability to communicate with the public through the things he does is extraordinary.

"You cannot lose that chance."
