Malik Scott, Deontay Wilder’s coach, believes that the Brit must 'impose himself' during their rematch

In his defeat to the undefeated Ukrainian warrior, Watford's 6ft 6in Watford fighter failed to make use of his weight or height advantages. Deontay wilder's coach Malik Scott thinks he will suffer another loss if he does not use his natural talents.

Scott, a former sparring partner with Usyk, said to ES News that he doesn't usually have the answers that casuals use.

"I try to find a different way.

"Most casuals would not know the difference between a left hook and a fish hook. But what most casuals or boxing people are saying, I must agree with.

"He cannot be so big and have the ability of imposing himself and not imposing himself on the smallest fighters that he has ever fought."

"This is the right time for him use his good positioning and his size, as well as his mental strength.

Joshua received a lesson in boxing from Usyk, who Scott believes could be the Brit’s kryptonite.

He said, "I think Joshua may be dealing with someone who is his number."

"I don’t believe this is Andy Ruiz [Joshua’s only career loss which he immediately avenged in a rematch] that you can fight off the backfoot and win.

Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua will renew their rivalry this spring

"I believe Usyk may be AJ's number, and if I were a betting man, I would bet the rematch would prove more exciting but I still would choose Usyk for victory."

Joshua used his rematch clause just days after Usyk's second reign as unified heavyweight champion.

SunSport reports that the couple's second dance will take place in March. An announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
