Anthony Joshua was told by Frank Warren to 'get rid of all his trainers' and 'change' his tactics for the Usyk rematch.

ANTHONY JOSHUA was urged to fire his entire coaching staff following Oleksandr Usyk's devastating defeat.

The Watford fighter saw his hopes of a big Battle of Britain with Tyson Fury crushed by the smooth southpaw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week.

Frank Warren believes that the Brit should leave his entire team to go for the rematch

AJ, 31, will be rematching the undefeated Ukrainian next season, but Fury's promoter Frank Warren believes he should do it with a new team.

SecondsOut was informed by Queensberry Promotions chief: "Should [Usyk] he fight him again? If he does the same thing as he did last time, I don’t see him beating me.

"Even then I believe Usyk will get more from that win than Joshua.

"I don't think Joshua can win the fight any other way than to get rid of all his trainers and change what he is doing. He will do that.

Warren was shocked by Usyk’s ability to out-jab Joshua, a taller and stronger man.

He said: "I told Usyk that if he's there at end, he'll win points. He won in a way I did not expect.

"I thought that AJ would come out and show off his physical attributes, his jab, and his size. He didn't.

"I believed Usyk would have to roll under me, get underneath my jab and work in the interior.

"He didn’t do that. He was outjabbing a bigger guy with a longer reach.

"I was shocked by that. He injured him during the fight. He was unable to stand up and he wobbled him in the first round. In the final round, I believe the bell saved him.

"There was no discussion about how he got beaten, he got beat."

Joshua is being targeted for revenge against London 2012 Olympian, the spring.

Eddie Hearn, promoter, told The BBC that he would announce the rematch and begin planning with K2 Promotions. March or April seems sensible for the rematch.

Anthony Joshua is certain to avenge his loss to Oleksandr Uzyk

Joshua believes he can settle the score with the undisputed champion at cruiserweight after watching and analysing the fight.

He stated, "I have watched the fight and analysed my preparations. I've identified my errors."

"I've learnt my lesson. Do not worry about me. My spirit is strong!"
