Rob McCracken hopes Anthony Joshua will put in a great performance against Oleksandr Uzyk
All thoughts now turn to AJ's fight against Usyk on September 25,
Joshua will defend his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight belts against the mandatory challenger in Tottenham's stadium.
If Usyk is defeated, Joshua will face Tyson Fury in a all-British unifier.
After winning 18 professional fights, however, the Ukrainian hitter is going to be difficult to beat.
Usyk already defeated fellow Brits Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora.
Thirteen of his victories were by knockout.
BETTING SPECIAL - GET MAN CITY AT 7/1 OR TOTTENHAM AT 33/1McCracken is optimistic that AJ will put in a strong performance next month, and fire a warning at Fury, who is preparing to fight Deontay Wilder in his trilogy fight.
McCracken stated to Sky Sports that "[AJ] has done a great job, he's right where he should be."
"I'll be back, and there will still seven weeks [before his bout], which is quite a lot for a fight of 36 minutes.
"He is in the right place. We'll get it back, me and the team that works with AJ so we can put in the work, do the sparring, and prepare right.
"[That's] so that he can put on an amazing performance in his next Heavyweight title fight."
Shokran Parwani, a German-based Shokran Parwani, is confident Joshua will defeat Usyk.
He is currently training with AJ to imitate Usyk's southpaw stance.
Parwani believes Joshua will be too strong for his'slick opponent'.

"Usyk is a smart guy but he's not a puncher. He doesn't possess power.
"In rounds nine, 10, or eleven? He won't be able to fight and AJ will take him down.
