ANTHONY JOSHUA is looking incredibly fit as he prepares for his comeback in December.

The former heavyweight champion is determined to reclaim his titles.

Joshua, 34, recently completed a four-day darkness retreat as part of his effort to "build character".

During this £2,000 exercise, the British boxer completely disconnected from the outside world, with "no phone, no TV, no radio, no audiobooks", and no human contact.

Not only has the retreat seemingly helped Joshua mentally, but he also appears to be in top physical shape.

Last night, Joshua shared a photo of himself looking ripped in the gym alongside his coach Derrick James.

The caption read: "Prepare for glory."

Fans Praising Joshua's Transformation

Joshua's post left fans in awe, with one commenting, "Yes Champ, you're looking in incredible shape, absolutely Hench."

Another fan gushed, "Proud of you AJ."

A third fan wrote, "Back in the lab."

And another added, "The Dream Team. LETS GO CHAMP!!"

Mega-Fight on the Horizon?

There have been rumors of a potential mega-fight between Joshua and former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

During his appearance at the Formula 1 last weekend, Joshua stated that the next window for the fight will likely be in March or April.

He said, "We've been told that they want to make it a mega card, and they like the idea of Joshua vs. Wilder on the same night."

However, promoter Eddie Hearn blamed Wilder for a previous deal falling through.

Wilder responded on Instagram, saying, "I'm doing everything in my power to make it happen - I'm ready to fight, Anthony."

Plans for Joshua's Return

Joshua is planning to make his return in December against an opponent who has yet to be named.

After that, he hopes to face Wilder in the spring.

Joshua emphasized the importance of staying busy and not getting caught up in the noise surrounding potential fights.

He said, "When the opportunity comes, we will be ready."
