Anthony Joshua's new coach promises to do "whatever it takes" to make Brit dethrone Usyk, and become a three time HW champ

ROBERT GARICIA insists that he will do all he can to make Anthony Joshua a three time heavyweight champion.

After Robert McCracken's departure, the American coach was brought in to help Joshua win his high-stakes match with Oleksandr Uzyk.

Garcia has fought 14 champions, but has never led a heavyweight to a title world championship - something he is relishing.

Interview with Little Giant Boxing: 47-year old said that she loves the challenge.

"Especially after a loss, getting the rematch against someone who beat him. It's a great challenge.

"I know it won't be easy. "I'm going to do everything necessary to make Anthony a champion again."

Garcia, like Joshua, is being driven by those who predict AJ's second showdown against Usyk will be a repeat performance of their Tottenham tussle last Sept.

He said, "That's what motivates me most after a loss that people don't expect." These are the challenges I love.

"Like [Marcos] Maidana beating [Adrien Brner or Abner Mares] or [Jesus] Cuellar and Steve Luevano, who traveled to London to face Nicky Cook. He was knocked out in the 11th round. Nobody expected that."

Should he successfully mastermind the first defeat of Usyk's professional career, Garcia will rank the triumph among the biggest achievements of his hall-of-fame-destined career.

He stated, "Those are the challenges I like." Anthony Joshua is right now that challenge.

"He lost. He did not take a beating. He lost a decision. He lost, however. He clearly lost.

"Now to win it would be enormous for me, man.

"It would have huge implications for me as a trainer to be able to train the heavyweight champions of the world. It doesn't get much better than this.
