In the Tone of Matthew McConaughey: Article Summary
Anthony Joshua Looks to Bounce Back
After consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua is ready to prove himself once again. His last fight against Robert Helenius ended in victory, and now he's preparing for his next challenge.
The Dangerous Otto Wallin
Joshua's next opponent is Otto Wallin, the man who famously left Tyson Fury with 47 stitches above his eye during their fight four years ago. While Wallin has won all his fights since then, he hasn't posed the same threat as he did that night in Las Vegas.
Fighting for a World Title
If Joshua can defeat Wallin, he could be elevated to a mandatory position to fight for the IBF title. However, Joshua has struggled against left-handed opponents in the past, so he'll need to bring his A-game to secure another shot at a world title.
Date and Location
The highly anticipated clash between Joshua and Wallin is expected to take place on Saturday, December 23. The fight will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the ring-walks for the main event likely starting around 11pm GMT.
Exciting Undercard
The card for this mega event is set to be packed with heavyweight bouts. Deontay Wilder is rumored to be fighting Joseph Parker in the co-main event, and Daniel Dubois will also be in action against former drug cheat Jarrell Miller. Dmitry Bivol, Filip Hrgovic, and Jai Opetaia will also feature on the card.
Where to Watch
Details regarding the TV channel and streaming service for the event have yet to be announced. Stay tuned to SunSport for the latest updates later this week.
