British heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, recently gave fans a glimpse into his unique retreat experience, where he spent four nights in complete darkness. The retreat, known as Sky Cave Dark Retreat, is located in Southern Oregon near Klamath Falls. Joshua documented his arrival at the retreat on his Snapchat, showing himself with a small suitcase.

A journey of self-reflection

During his stay, Joshua reflected on his decision to embark on this challenging experience, stating, "Many times I've asked myself this question; why did I put myself in this situation? But, this is where lions are made. What I'm trying to do is showcase to myself, there's actually not much I need. I just need myself."

A break from technology

Joshua revealed that the retreat was a complete break from technology, with no access to phones, TV, radio, or audiobooks. Instead, he spent his time in solitude, relying solely on his thoughts and internal reflections.

A unique way to find peace

For Joshua, this retreat was an opportunity to seek peace and enhance his character. He explained, "Life is all about experiences. I want to have more character and go through more experiences. In this, though, it's just me and my mind."
