Tyson Fury called Joshua out for a WBC title clash
Hearn said that AJ would fight the best in business in the unlikely event that the meeting was cancelled.
Hearn spoke out about Joshua's possible opponent if Fury's fight falls apart and said that he wouldn't like a soft touch. That would be against him.
"It's a top ten guy, you could pull it out of the ranks yourself. The price rises as soon as I mention names. AJ doesn't want a gimme fight.
SunSport takes a look at the names Hearn suggested as potential opponents in the event that the Fury fight does not go ahead.
Filip Hrgovic
The 30-year-old Croatian stands 6ft 6in tall and is exactly the same height as Joshua.
Filip Hrgovic, also known as "El Animal", has won 15 of his professional bouts. Twelve of them were via knockout.
His last fight was August on the undercard Joshua vs Usyk II. He defeated Zhang Zhilei, a Chinese fighter, in an eliminator for IBF World Title.
Filip Hrgovic has yet to lose a professional fight
Zhilei Zhang
Hearn also mentioned Zhang as a possible opponent for Joshua.
This was Hrgovic's first professional loss.
Hearn was nevertheless impressed by Zhang's defeat in AJ.
He stated: "You have Filip Hrgovic. He won. It was a terrible performance by him. Zhilei Zhang looked good."
Zhang lost to Hrgovic, but was impressive in defeat
Otto Wallin
Hearn's last name was Otto Wallin, a 31-year-old Swedish fighter.
Zhang is also a 31-year old southpaw and has 24 wins to his name and one loss in his professional record.
Fury suffered the loss in 2019.
Wallin defeated American Rydell Bucher in their last fight earlier in the year.
Wallin lost to Fury in September 2019.
