After beating Terri Harper, Alycia Baumgardner has been named the new world champion

After a year of injury, the Denaby heroine was back but was outdone by the 27-year old Ohio ace.

Baumgardner was ready to play the villain. He started with a low lead and insulted the fans.

Harper called the American challenger, who was clearly visible from the ringside, a "b ****" within the ropes." However, Harper soon settled back into the hurt business and punished Harper for her rudeness with some quick combinations.

Harper was thrown by a few big shots, and then buzzed with Baumgardner bombs.

Even though the Brit hit the deck during the worst barrage, the referee didn't rule it a knockdown because she seemed to have been illegally bundled.

Harper was able to recover in time for the third round. Baumgardner's brilliant jab, which she always whips up from her sequin shorts and found Harper's nose, was more successful.

Harper's entire body became stiffer after a sickening thud, and the fight was almost over as quickly as it began.

Harper was robbed of all her senses by a brutal right hand. Mark Lyson, the referee, did an amazing job saving her.

Harper was left stunned by the crowd and then they booed as Harper tried to recover. Baumgardner, however, rightfully attempted to celebrate in front a hostile crowd.

Baumgardner's team, exuberant and arousing, almost set off a riot in the arena by provoking Harper's concerned crowd.

The locals were pleasantly surprised to see Harper was recovering from her devastating loss and they are looking forward to Harper's return in the rematch.
