As Jake Paul fights, Tommy Fury shows off his skillful defense against 6ft 7in boxer.

Tommy Fury's slick defense has been shown in leaked sparring footage before his fight against Jake Paul.

Paul, a YouTube sensation from Britain, will face the British star on December 18, Florida. He won eight rounds.

A clip of Fury sparring unbeaten cruiserweight Andrey Mengushev at 6ft 7in has been making the rounds on YouTube and social media.

The video is thought to be outdated and was probably taken while Tyson, the Love Islander 2019, was visiting America in the summer.

However, Fury's defensive abilities, including parrying and slipping punches as well as countering were evident.

Mangushev is an experienced and taller man based in Miami, Florida, at 5-0. He and his promotional team Warriors Boxing seem to have released the footage.

Fury, 22 years old, was in Florida in summer with Tyson. He returned to England in June and defeated Jordan Grant.

He defeated Anthony Taylor, Paul's sparring partner, in his next fight. This was the night that the social media star beat ex-UFC champion Tyron Whiteley, 39.

This set Fury and Tyson up for their celebrity grudge match. Fury is now based in Morecambe, where Tyson is training him.

His sparring was done in the Gypsy King's private gym.

Paul, 24 years old, has been in Puerto Rico preparing for the second consecutive time.

He is currently at 4-0. Prior wins include YouTuber "AnEsonGib", ex-NBA player Nate Robinson (37), and Ben Askren (37).

Fury is seven years old and is often coached by John. However, John is unable to travel Stateside because of a previous criminal conviction.

This means that Tyson, 33, along with Sugarhill Steward, his trainer, are ready to lead the charge on fight night.

Fury was in Las Vegas to meet with Sugarhill but was forced to fly back due to a family emergency.

He will remain in the UK for the last two weeks, where he will connect with his friends. Sugarhill once more.

iFL TV was told by the trainer that he is in good hands with T, his trainer over there. Every fighter I train can be trained by other fighters. That's how I teach it.

"He's fine with Tyson over there. They will be here 10 to 11 days before the fight, so I'll be there.

"We'll put it all together, then it's knockout-time baby!"
