Bellew says Anthony Joshua must "ignite aggression" from before Dillian Whyte fight SIX years ago in order to get back at his best.

ANTHONY JOSHUA must regain the aggression he displayed against Dillian Whyte six year ago in order to be at his best.

Tony Bellew, a boxing legend, claims Joshua still has the fighter that made him a star but needs to do some soul searching.

Oleksandr Usyk won the unified heavyweight title from AJ last month. He put on a 12-round masterclass at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Bellew says his British counterpart must return to the same fighting style he used to before his victory over Whyte in round 7.

DAZN Boxing's 38-year old interviewee said that there were certain things that needed to be ignited in Anthony Joshua.

"Maybe it was aggression. Maybe he is back to his old self before the Dillian Whyte fight.

"That fighter is still there, he has to find a way for that to be ignited again."

This is after another boxing legend, Carl Froch, hit Joshua for "poncing around" against Usyk.

Froch advised Froch, 32, to cut off anyone who is still 'hanging around in his camp'.

He stated that if someone is taller, more reachable, and weighs more than you, it's no problem.

"F *****g ragdoll him. Push him back. Hit him around the body. If he is not moving, f *****g, drop the nut.

"Get the win. Don't just sit back and wait.

"A disappointing performance by AJ. One he can vastly improve upon, quite easily.

"So, you can't put him out in the rematch, but he must change his tactics."
