Ben Davison: The Man Behind Joshua's Training
Former trainer of Tyson Fury, Ben Davison, took the reins for Anthony Joshua's last fight against Otto Wallin in December 2023. After training under Derrick James in Texas for previous wins, Joshua decided to stick with Davison for his upcoming bout with Ngannou.
During a press conference in January, AJ explained his decision, stating, "The reason I was able to gel with Ben is because he doesn’t try to change your style. He kind of looks at your attributes and adds to what you’re good at."
