The Cover is Blown

However, Biaggio's secret didn't last long. After his family ties were revealed in the press, he could no longer hide his famous lineage. The news spread like wildfire, and everyone knew that he was Ali's grandson.

From Football to MMA

Biaggio initially pursued a career in football, dreaming of playing in the NFL. However, in 2019, he made a surprising decision to leave football behind and switch to MMA. Despite his family's boxing background, Biaggio chose a different combat sport to make his mark.

Pro Debut in Saudi Arabia

Now, with a record of 7-1 as an amateur, Biaggio is set to make his professional debut in Saudi Arabia on February 24. He will be fighting on the PFL vs Bellator card, marking a significant milestone in his MMA career.

The Ali Legacy in MMA

Biaggio acknowledges the historical significance of an Ali competing in MMA. He references his grandfather's cross-fight with a wrestler in 1976, which is considered one of the early forms of MMA. Biaggio sees himself as a trailblazer, representing the Ali family in a different combat sport.

Embracing the Pressure

Biaggio is no stranger to pressure, having carried the famous Ali name throughout his amateur career. He understands that the media attention, haters, and online comments will only intensify as he transitions into the professional realm. However, he is ready to embrace the challenges that come with his family's legacy.

Biaggio Ali Walsh is determined to carve his own path in MMA and prove that he is more than just Muhammad Ali's grandson. As he prepares for his pro debut, all eyes will be on this rising star as he continues the Ali legacy in a new and unique way.
