BILLY Joe SAUNDERS denies that he stabbed someone in the hand. He also threatened someone with a gun.
32-year-old British boxer has issued a statement discrediting the sensational claims.
Billy Joe Saunders denies he stabbed any man and pulled out a gun on them
Recently, the father of his victim claimed that 30-1 Saunders had stabbed him through the hand and then pulled out a gun on his son.
Saunders, who hasn’t fought since May's sole career loss to Canelo Alvarez, called the claims 'complete garbage'.
The boxer posted a brief Instagram story stating that he was aware of a viral video on social media.
"It makes several allegations against me, all which are completely rubbish.
"However, as the police might be involved at one stage, my lawyer advises that I refrain from making any public comments at this stage.
"I'm more than happy to talk to the police if they wish to reach me."
Since May's defeat to Canelo, pound-for-pound champion, Saunders has not fought.
After he had broken his eye, the Brits' team gave up and threw in their towel.
Saunders quickly claimed that he did not quit. He said: "If it was possible for me to get down on one knee with an injured eye socket, it would have been possible."
"I went over a minute, and still continued... Anyone who knows me personally knows this is not in me, never."
