BOXER Florian Marku admitted that he is afraid his wife will give birth during the fight.
Jorick Luisetto and Marku will be battling it out at Wembley Arena Saturday, his first appearance as part of the BOXXER promotion.
Mirror reports that the Albanian star is concerned about his wife going into labor during the clash. They are due to have a boy in just days.
Marku stated during the pre-match press conference, "I am really pleased."
"Boxing and fighting are my life, and people can't understand why this is all that makes me happy.
"Now that we're talking, my wife is pregnant, and she is in her last days of her pregnancy. She could give birth today, tomorrow, or any other time.
"I really hope she doesn't give birth on Saturday, as I won't be able go to see her.
"Congratulations, my opponent for taking on the fight with me, but I believe he is not at my level. From the first second of the fight remember that I will hunt him down and knock him out."
Marku made his professional debut in boxing three years ago. He has enjoyed an unbeaten run with nine wins in 10 fights that has made him an immensely popular figure.
He also has a MMA background, which saw him win all three of his matches by submission and one by knockout.
The title of IBF Welterweight Champion will be defended by the Albanian King against Frenchman Luisetto.
The card will include the professional debut of Olympian Caroline Dubois and will conclude with the fight between Richard Riakporhe & Olanrewaju Durodola.
