BOXER shocked fight fans by landing TWO double-leg takesdowns at Global Legion FC 20, last weekend.
Alberto Blas, who also competes as a mixed martial artist, appeared to forget that he was participating in a boxing match when he went in for a takedown just a minute into his bout with Timmy Mason.

The Cuban performed a picture-perfect power dual, dropping to his knees to smash Mason to the ground.
Blas's takedown left Mason and the announcers stunned. Mason could not stop it.
Blas, 27, was quickly removed from Mason to ensure he didn't pour any rain down on any ground or pound.
Amazingly, Blas was not disqualified by the ref for his flagrant violation of the rules.
Blas took Mason down again just moments later.
After separating the two, El Indio was unable to be pulled off by the ref the second time. However, he was quickly disqualified from the match.
Blas's coach said that he had instructed Mason to fall two days after the fight. This was in retaliation for his punch in the back.
On Instagram, he wrote: "

"A hit to the head, like the legendary boxer Prichard Collon, is not something to be taken lightly.
It can even cause death or severe permanent damage.
"After flying across the country to attend this MMA event we were notified that our opponent had pulled out.
"As any fearless fighter would do, @indioencuba stepped in within hours to fight with an opponent of over 20 LBS HEAVIER in a boxing match.
"Within minutes, our opponent had hit our fighter on the back of his head without any remorse or repercussions.
"I knew that this was not a risk worth taking. I instructed @indioencuba then to double-leg the opponent and reminded him that if he wishes to play DIRTY ...., he can. We can also play DIRTIER."
He said, "I almost requested for a head kick, but we didn’t want to hurt our opponent."
Shocked spectators of the fight were quick with their comments, one tweeting: "Beautiful Double Leg Takedown, but why? Lol."
Another stated, "This is what Conor McGregor should do to Floyd Mayweather." That would have been great entertainment.
One person asked, "Why did the men on the side clap even though it was wrong lmfaaooo?"
