Kotochigov is currently in the UK, preparing for his next fight on December 11
.
The camp was not for him after he was allegedly attacked by hooded thugs with an acid-like substance.
Kotochigov posted an explanation of the events on Instagram, saying that he was left "curling in pain".
He stated that the England camp was unlucky for him.
"Briefly on the situation: I flew from England to prepare for the December 11 duel.
"I found a place to work out and got a room. It's been 4 days. I slept at home at night and heard someone opening the lock.
"I am trying to get a knife out of my head, but I didn't find anything in the kitchen other than a form or a spoon.
"The door opens and people fly in with their hoods on, their heads up.
"I stood up quickly and went to them, but they didn't intend to fight me. They were pouring acid-like substance over me. I was in great pain and they fled.
"Called the coach first. "Called the coach first thing at night. He took me to the hospital and took care of my condition. I am so grateful for that!
"I spent the last few days in hospital with burns and being monitored by doctors.
"I didn’t disagree with anyone who required this, no idea. One thing I understood was that you must go to camp to see the proven places.
More to come...
