He has lost weight with the help of Diamond Dallas Page

A Little Help Goes a Long Way

Butterbean expressed his gratitude to former WWE star Diamond Dallas Page for his support on his weight loss journey. Page has helped numerous former fighters regain their fitness and hosts the reality TV show 'Change Or Die', specifically designed to aid weight loss.

Butterbean appeared on the show last year and has continued his weight loss journey ever since. The former professional now weighs in at 142kg - a remarkable 91kg less than his peak weight of 233kg.

A Miraculous Turnaround

Butterbean's transformation is nothing short of miraculous. The 77-10 fighter revealed that his weight had previously caused him feelings of depression.

He admitted to Seconds Away: "I went through a stage where I was looking at the end of my life - not that I was going to kill myself, but I was getting down, I was way overweight and just feeling down."

Ready to Rumble

Now, the veteran boxer is ready to step back into the ring and has his sights set on a fight against the likes of Mike Tyson or Jake Paul.

He confidently told SunSport: "I’m not a typical boxer, I go out there to fight, I want to knock somebody out. Jake Paul or Mike Tyson.

"Jake Paul runs his mouth too much, he’s never fought nobody, I would love to fight him.

"But I think people would like to see me and Tyson go at it, which would be a hell of a draw.

"Me and Tyson are actually friends but I don’t mind fighting friends."
