ANTHONY JOSHUA has appointed Robert Garcia his new coach in advance of the July or August rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
After losing the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles last year in London, the Brit wants to regain them.
Joshua will meet Usyk at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia.
Garcia, a former IBF super-featherweight champion, will be Garcia's new coach. Garcia was also named trainer of 2011
Joshua also identified where Garcia could help him win the belts back.
Joshua, 32, stated in an interview with iFL TV that "the main thing is: A happy fight is a dangerous fighter. I'm happy.

"I'm good, happy, and I'm about start training now.
"Garcia is actually here, we are just working on some things. My opinion is that it's not about changing your style.
Garcia might prefer to crouch to 5'0 and weave, but my style is to bob and weave. I am a 6'6" heavyweight.
"So it's not about the style. It's about his experience at championship level and what he knows at camp; that's priceless to me."
Coach Garcia challenged Joshua to have faith in himself if he wants to climb back up to the top of the heavyweight mountain.
In December, he told Boxing King Media: "If Anthony hires us as a trainer he's also the main guy. If he hires him, I am the boss and he will do what I tell.
"You will train in the manner I want, and you will follow my instructions. You don't have to be, so find someone else.
"I believe Anthony is more talented that Fury and Usyk. Both are great fighters. They are great fighters. Usyk won a big fight, he has a great style, is difficult, and Fury is the man at Heavyweight right now.
"But, I still believe that Anthony Joshua has greater skills and when it comes to skills, he's got the ability to believe in himself.
"He has to believe his skills are strong enough to defeat them both, and he has to do it.

"He should say, "Maybe I could take some punches from those guys but they won’t be able take mine,' you have to have that mentality."
Garcia said, "I have been working with so much other fighters who have the same problem, and you've to change that mentality and their thinking." It's not possible to be kind in the ring."
