Detained as a Suspected Fugitive
A British bare-knuckle boxer, Derek "Decca" Heggie, is set to be deported from the Philippines after being detained by authorities. The boxer, originally from Montrose in Angus, Scotland, posted a farewell video to his followers online as details of his alleged criminal past were uncovered.
Paraded on TV by Filipino Authorities
Heggie was paraded on TV alongside a US criminal as it was announced that he would be sent back to the UK. He was also given the opportunity to make a video for his YouTube followers while behind bars.
Turbulent Life and Boxing Career
Heggie has experienced a tumultuous life, battling drug addiction and mental health issues for ten years. He gained recognition after appearing in the gangster film "The Corrupted" alongside well-known actors such as Timothy Spall and Hugh Bonneville. However, he made most of his money through bare-knuckle fighting, becoming a British champion and earning thousands.
Philippine Bureau of Immigration Claims Heggie is a Wanted Fugitive
The Philippine Bureau of Immigration has stated that Heggie is a wanted fugitive in the UK. However, no approach has been made by the British government regarding his case. A source in the UK mentioned that the information from the Philippines does not match Heggie's record in the UK.

Deportation and Blacklisting
Heggie is currently detained at the bureau's office and will be transferred to a warden facility. Commissioner Norman Tansingco confirmed that Heggie and the American criminal with him will be included in the immigration blacklist to prevent them from re-entering the country.
