CALEB PLANT vows to be a world champion once again after being defeated by Canelo Avarez in their super-middleweight match.
After a brutal attack that left him lying on the ground, the 29-year old suffered his first defeat in his career to the Mexican.

in their undisputed supermiddleweight fight.
Plant, who took home at least PS7.4million in Las Vegas contest prizes, broke his silence after his IBF title was rescinded.
In an Instagram post, the Tennessee native declared that he has proven he is worthy to compete at the highest level.
He stated, "I've bent the most of the world to mine and done it with passion and skill." I'll be there.
"I proved that I belong at the top level, and I will be a champion again."
"I have never been afraid to take on the world or stand tall with my shield.
"Thank you to all my fans and supporters."
Sweethands was supported by his fans, one user commenting: "Great fight man. You'll be back."
Another commented: "I believe in you bro!"
Another added: "You fought the highest level doggie. "Unreal performance."
One message was sent: "You incited millions of people around the globe and did it with the greatest levels of honor and integrity, CP. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Canelo also praised Plant in his post-fight interview. He stated: "I want everyone to thank tonight. It wasn't easy to get here.
"But, with your support, our family, and my team, we've come a long way. This is for everyone, especially in Mexico.
Caleb Plant has my respect. He is a formidable fighter with lots of talent.
"We are men at the end. He wanted to fight me and he wanted to continue. We had a great fight today, and there is no shame in that.
"But, of course we came out on top."
