Then, Sweethands began to fall to the ground with a brutal right uppercut.
Canelo hit another left but it was too late.
Plant was stunned for the first time in his career, but he quickly recovered from it.

Canelo ran forward and quickly rapped in a left hook that caused Plant to backtrack.
Plant was soon in pain after a blitz combination. Canelo hit a right hand on the temple of the Tennessee fighter to send him back to his feet.
Canelo won the fight and was crowned.
After his victory, Guadalajara's 31-year old said: "I want everyone to know that I am grateful for their support tonight." It wasn't easy to reach this point.
"But, with your support, our family, and my team, we've come a long way. This is for everyone, especially in Mexico.
Caleb Plant has my respect. He is a formidable fighter with a lot to offer.
"We are men at the end. He wanted to fight me and he wanted to continue. We had a great fight today, and there is no shame in that.
"But, of course we came out on top."
