Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that Canelo Alvarez, a MEXICAN boxer, has decided to not fight Dmitry Bivol in Catchweight.
Instead, the pair will go toe-toe at 175lb for light heavyweights.
The catchweight, which differs from traditional weight classes, was offered at 171lb.
Hearn, however, revealed to DAZN that Alvarez (31-year-old) was not interested in these terms.
He stated that Canelo could have had a catchweight really easily.
"Bivol would have accepted anything 171lbs or more.

"And there is no rehydration clause."
As he prepares for his second attempt at a light-heavyweight belt, the multiple world champion appeared bulkier in a training video.
Sergey Kovalev beat him at this weight in 2019, but he gave up his title to go super-middleweight, where he defeated Avni Yoldirim and Billy Joe Saunders last year.
