After a massive right hand, the 2004 Olympic hero was brutally unconscious in round six.

Khan lay flat on his back and stared up at the lights while Canelo sat beside him and expressed his concern.

Even today, the Mexican hint that he feared for the Brit's death after the demolition job.

Canelo stated in a DAZN documentary that Amir Khan scared him a little and made me feel a little worried.

"I actually went to his house to check if he was okay. It was the natural response - the knockout was just too strong.

"Additionally, he injured his neck when he fell on the canvas." "I thought that something more than a knockout had occurred."

Khan, who is now 35 years old, lost 147 lbs to 155 lb. This was 1 lb more than the light-middleweight limit.

He claimed that Canelo, 32 years old, had piled on more than TWO STONE just before they fought.

Khan admittedly was not the same after the loss, and even though he attempted to win the world title once more, he decided to hang up his gloves for this year.

Canelo is still the most famous star in the sport. He returns to the track over the weekend with Gennady Glovkin, 40, to complete his trilogy.

They drew in 2017, before Golovkin lost the epic match a year later.

After 24 rounds of classic rounds Khan backed his opponent to win the fight against GGG. He won the double over Kazakh.
