TYSON FURY will fight in the United Kingdom against Dillian Whyte for his WBC heavyweight title.
The Gypsy King, 33 years old, was ordered to defend his belt against the Body Snatcher. The fight is expected to take place either in February or March.
Tyson Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title in 2022 against Dillian Whyte
Fury, a former WBA, WBO, and IBF champion, has competed in America for five of his last five appearances.
He is expected to fight in a homecoming bout, and it is believed that he will choose between Cardiff's Principality Stadium or Manchester United's Old Trafford.
SunSport spoke to Fury in October about his dream of fighting at Manchester United's home.
He may have to wait for a dustup at Theatre of Dreams. The Daily Mail claims that a fight in Cardiff is more likely.
They claim that his fight against Whyte will take place under the roof of the Pricipality Stadium.
The ground can hold 78,000 boxing events. The Welsh Rugby Union would love to host the international fight.
They will need to squeeze in the big showdown around their Six Nations schedule. They host Scotland on February 12, France and Italy on March 11, and Italy one week later.
Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, said that there had been too much mucking about with the fight.
"Tyson must box in the New Years and we have reached a point where we can continue with the Whyte fight.
"Whyte is a massive stadium event, and it's too early in the new Year to go to Old Trafford.
After back-to-back knockout victories against Deontay wilder, Fury will be the favourite to win the fight.
However, Whyte's trainer Xavier Miller warned him that his fighter is more powerful than Wladimir Klitschko and the Bronze Bomber.
TalkSPORT was told by him: "I think Dillian will be a little too much for me."
Klitschko proved right at the end his career. It was a great win but it is not something anyone will ever be able to watch again on YouTube.

Let's just be real. Although it was not a great fight, Tyson is now a more fan-friendly fighter.
"The Wilder fights were decent, so he has been to a few decent fights and will be watching them again. This is why I believe this is the best time for this type of fight.
"Dillian loves to fight, Tyson seems to be doing that now. He's a skilled fighter, which I respect. He has been boxing for a very long time, so he is well-versed in the art.
"I believe he found the right partner in Deontay Wilder. But Wilder isn't Dillian."
