Carl Froch Reveals He Googled His Wife Before First Date and Took Her to a Strip Club

Former British boxer, Carl Froch, has opened up about his unconventional first date with his wife, Rachael Cordingley. Froch admitted to Googling Cordingley before their blind date in 2009 and even decided to take her to a strip club for a night of fun.

Curiosity Got the Best of Him

Before their first meeting, Froch couldn't resist the urge to look up Cordingley online. He confessed, "I had googled her, had a look, and thought she looked alright. I'll have a little date with her."

A Surprising Choice

Despite the unconventional choice, Froch's date idea seemed to work. Cordingley revealed that they had a blast at the strip club, with her dancing on the tables alongside the women. Froch, on the other hand, jokingly wondered why he wasn't getting more attention as a world champion boxer.

From First Date to Forever

The couple's first date was just the beginning of their journey together. They eventually tied the knot in 2019, five years after Froch popped the question. To celebrate their love, they jetted off to the Mediterranean for a romantic holiday.

Retirement and Rekindling

During his boxing career, Froch enforced a sex ban while training for fights. However, after retiring in 2014, he and Cordingley were finally able to enjoy a normal sex life. Cordingley expressed her happiness, stating, "After such a long wait, it's really good to have our sex life back to normal and to have that closeness again, to be able to have sex like a normal young couple."

Froch left an impressive legacy in the boxing world, retiring with a 33-2 record. One of his most memorable moments was knocking out George Groves in front of over 80,000 fans at Wembley. Now, Froch and Cordingley are enjoying their life together, making the most of their time in the sun.
