Former super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch has launched a scathing attack on Tyson Fury following the Gypsy King's horror cut that caused his fight against Oleksandr Usyk to be postponed. The highly anticipated four-belt heavyweight unification was scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on February 17.
The Devastating Injury
With just two weeks remaining until the fight, disaster struck when Fury suffered a gruesome gash in sparring that required over ten stitches. The injury left no choice but to postpone the bout indefinitely.
Froch Points Fingers
Froch, who has been involved in a feud with Fury's dad, initially placed blame on the Gypsy King. In a video on his YouTube channel, Froch criticized Fury for not taking proper precautions and suggested that wearing a face guard with cheekbone protectors could have prevented the injury. He also questioned why top champions like Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez rarely suffered such injuries.
Fight Rescheduled with a Staggering Wager
The fight has now been rescheduled for May 18, with both Fury and Usyk agreeing to forfeit £10 million of their own cash if they pull out again. This demonstrates their commitment to making the fight happen and not disappointing their fans.

Froch Backtracks
After seeing the extent of Fury's gruesome gash, Froch softened his stance. While he still believes precautions should have been taken, he acknowledged the seriousness of the injury and the need to reschedule the fight.
Despite the setback, boxing fans are eagerly awaiting the rescheduled bout between Fury and Usyk, hoping it will live up to the hype and become a legendary match in the heavyweight division.
