Old foe Billy Joe Saunders is a front-runner, having proudly won his second World Title at his Stevenage FC ground in 2019.

Kell Brook from Sheffield, another potential opponent, fulfilled a childhood dream when, in 2017, he fought at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane.

Gennady Glovkin, the world champion, is Eubank Jr., 32. He says that his star appeal makes him the perfect rival.

SunSport reported that he said: "Bringing Golovkin and anyone else to Amex isn't a throwaway comment. It is not fantasy.

"I have boxed all over the world and never been scared to enter an opponent's yard, so let us see if anyone is up for the challenge.

"To be the first boxer ever to bring a show to Amex would be historic.

"London holds most of the major shows from the south of England, so it would be something unique."

According to a SunSport source in Brighton, "We are always open-minded about staging major events at Amex but are constrained this summer by the Premier League season as well as the women's Euros."

Chris Eubank Jr., a British boxing legend, was at the ringside when Eubank Jr. beat Welshman Williams eight days earlier.

Eubank Jr. said that he was satisfied with the task and was pleased to have it done. I did what was necessary to win comfortably.

"I made a statement, and I proved that I am what I said I was. That's a far better fighter than him."
