Failed Drug Tests Delayed Historic Showdown

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn were set to face off in a long-awaited family grudge match last October. However, the fight was derailed after Benn failed a pair of drug tests. Now, negotiations are back on and the fight is close to being finalized.

Eubank Jr Issues Blunt Warning to Benn

After catching wind of some social media trash talk from Benn, Eubank Jr didn't hold back. He responded with a chilling warning, writing, "DEAD MAN WALKING." Benn had vowed to become the second man to stop Eubank Jr, but the response from Eubank Jr suggests he's not intimidated.

Appeal Still Ongoing

While Benn was exonerated of intentionally taking the banned substance found in his system, the appeal from UK Anti-Doping and the British Boxing Board of Control is still ongoing. Despite this, Benn is technically allowed to continue boxing in the UK, prompting Eddie Hearn to move forward with plans to re-book the fight.

Working Date and Venue

The fight is currently scheduled for February 3, with The Daily Mail reporting that it will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Benn has confidently declared that this will be the end of Eubank Jr's career, promising to remind him of that when he's "being scraped up off the f***ing canvas."
