Conor Benn desperately needs to see his grandad Nigel and baby son Nigel again after Adrian Granados clash

CONOR BENN is in tears as he considers his father again.

Conor and Victoria welcomed Eli into the world in January, despite restrictions on travel due to pandemics.

Conor Benn and Nigel have been separated by travel restrictions between Australia, the UK, and Australia for far too long

The 57-year old icon will be flying to October to begin an explosive speaking tour along with Chris Eubank, his brilliant rival.

Benn will be arriving at the airport with his son, Adrian Granados, to make a long-overdue introduction.

Conor, 24 years old, told SunSport that his dad was indeed coming to Eubank for a tour and that if I were a fan I would get tickets for the first show. I don't know how much time this tour will last.

"The thought of being at the airport's arrivals gate with my son and his grandson makes me feel emotional just by thinking about it.

"The thought of it has given me butterflies just thinking about it, and it's still a month off."

Nigel was a disaster in the ring, and nothing has changed with Conor, a house-proud Conor, worried about the powerhouse collapsing at his new home.

Conor laughed, "I will be there with his grandson to pick him up but he has been warned that he must arrive covered in bubble wrap as I cannot allow him to smash up everything in my house."

"He can't stop trashing the joint."

Conor also looks forward to showing his father what little empire he built after 18 professional wins.

After learning painful lessons about money management at the beginning of his all-action career, the welterweight champion brought his family home to reopen.

He admitted that he had torn the tendons in his hand at the beginning of his career and broke my jaw. When I couldn't fight, I realized I had spent a lot.

"I was astonished at the number of designer shoes, bags, and watches I saw and wondered how they would pay my bills.

"I had to experience that at 20 years old to learn and realize. Now I am able to secure my family and enjoy helping them all.

"It's been a great blessing for my dad and mum to have the money to care for me and my sisters, but now they can let me know that I am safe and that my siblings are well taken care of.

"I won't ever need a penny now from my dad or mum, it's not in me." As the elder brother, I want to protect my little brothers and my son and my spouse."

Conor's brutal one-round KO against Samuel Vargas in April stunned everyone in the weigh-in by his growling threats in Spanish and warnings.

The tactic of intimidation worked well as the fight lasted only 80 seconds. However, The Destroyer isn't sure if US-based Mexican Granados will receive the same choice language.

Conor stated that he lived 12 years in Spain and never chose to learn Spanish. He said, "I just had to because all of my Spanish friends were Spanish."

"I don't speak Spanish well, and haven't been able to communicate with another Spanish speaker for 12 years.

"But some of these Mexican fighters who were raised in America don’t even know Spanish."

"So, I could end up whispering to them at a weight-in or press conference and he could look on me like I'm an idiot."

Benn's rise to fame has seen him become a household name. His catchphrase "crushing it at the gym" is now attracting many imitators.

Filling up the petrol tank is now a media event. It is almost used to all of the attention, good and bad.

He said, "Just before my last fight, I got out the car to put some petrol in. I ended up with 10 people asking me for photos."

"I got into the car and said to my spouse, 'babe. "I must now be famous.

"I don’t think I see myself that way, but I am getting more attention now and it’s weird.

It's strange to see yourself as a fighter. But it's a blessing.

"Some people still ask for photos and speak very nicely to you, then slag off.

"I will never forget one geezer's face. He took a photo of me, then posted it on the internet and made fun of me. I didn't get why he wanted the photo.

"I try not to take anything on face value, face to face everyone has been very respectful."
