Benn will need to gain 10 lbs from his usual weight of 147lb to win the bout at 157lb.
Eubank Jr, on the other side, is a career middleweight at 160lb and has campaigned as high a 168lb.
After 12 rounds, his defeats against George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders were recorded on the scorecards.
However, Benn, a powerhouse with 14 knockouts from his 21 wins, believes he can beat Eubank Jr. before the last bell.
Matchroom Boxing asked him: "Call my delusional, call it confident, call what you will. "I believe I can stop Chris.
Benn, 25, continues to climb the rankings at welterweight to improve on his first world title shot.
Eubank Jr., 32, has become increasingly frustrated by his inability to win championships.
He turned his attention to Benn after their father's iconic fights of the 1990s.
Eubank defeated arch-nemesis Nigel in the first epic battle. They drew three more years later, in 1993.
Their prizefighter sons were left to continue the rivalry three decades later after the trilogy was not realized.
Eubank Jr. said that "it's a fight which's going to spark imagination of the British public. That's what's happy about."
It's my biggest fight in terms of hype, legacy, and anticipation.
Benn said, "This fight was for the legacy and it was an opportunity that I could not pass up."
