Conor Benn wants Amir Khan to clash, but the veteran rival is pricing himself out with demands for 'new Lamborghini'

CONOR BENN told Amir Khan that he should stop raising the price of their top-gear to make it more affordable so he can purchase more flashy motors.

The 25-year old welterweight was at ringside to see Kell Brook defeat the 35-yearold Bolton hero in six exciting February rounds.

Brook stopped Khan in the sixth round in their all-British clash on February 2nd.

Benn, the son of British legend Nigel and a rapidly growing fighter, wanted to jump in the ring to secure a fight.

Khan and Brook, a 35-year-old Sheffield victor, have requested more than PS10million to meet the hot prospect.

The Destroyer stated that Kell wanted PS10million ahead of Chris van Heerden's April 19 learning fight. The Destroyer said that half of that amount is more realistic. I am sure he wants one more pay check.

"Khan's team is in touch with me recently, and greed is a horrible thing.

"I understood the winner of that fight, Kell, coming out and wanting another fight because he looked amazing.

Khan seemed to be ready for the end - but when you're out spending PS500,000 on Lamborghinis I can see why your need another payday."

Benn would like to have a shot at the 10st 7lbs title, but he knows that current champions Terence Crawford and Errol Spencer are more experienced and have other plans.

A long list of second-tier competitors are waiting to grab his big-money crown.

One of the most prominent is Josh Taylor from Scotland, a friend who is about to give up his super-lightweight titles to go up to 147lbs.

He said, "Josh Taylor's moving up," with a mischievous smile. Josh Taylor and I get along well, there's no needle there. He is a great fighter. Just look at his resume.

"But if he goes up to welterweight, it could be an enormous domestic fight between us." Brook and Khan are at crossroads, but Josh Taylor is a hot property."

Brook is most likely to face Chris Eubank Jr., a middleweight opponent.

Khan and Benn would then be free to negotiate a deal that could catapult Khan into world title fights, and mark the end of Khan’s remarkable career.
