Conor Benn will be at Khan vs Brook's ringside and eager to prove that he is Britain's best middleweight

CONOR BEN will be in the front row as Amir Khan and Kellbrook clash to determine Britain's best middleweight.

The legend's 25-year-old son Nigel will continue his learning journey on December 11, when he takes on Chris Algieri (37), a respected American.

Benn will then be able to enjoy Christmas and Valentines together with his son Eli, and Victoria's wife Victoria. He can also take a VIP seat in the Manchester arena to see Khan and Brook resolve a 17-year old grudge on February 19.

Khan (34), and Brook (35) are expected to see one of the former world champions retire.

19-0 Benn, however, is eager to boost both their pension pots in order to claim the title of UK's best 10st 7lbs slugger.

Benn spoke out before another brutal session with Tony Sims. He said to SunSport that both of them were talking as if their fight was a warm up for him so that's okay.

"I will be at their ringside fight, one million percent. I will fight the victor, no problem, bring on Khan and Brook.

"When they and their promoter refer to them as Britain's best welterweights, it is completely wrong.

Next, Benn will face Chris Algieri (37), a respected American.

"If anyone thinks that they are the best welterweights available, or that the winner of the fight was the No1, I would love to clarify that immediately."

Khan was a national treasure after he won silver in the Olympian competition at 17 years old in 2004. He then became a world champion and starred in reality shows in his jungle home.

Brook, a low-profile fighter, produced one of Britain's best away victories when he traveled to America to defeat Shawn Porter to win the IBF title.

Benn was a great fan in his early years, but both Benn and the other men have suffered serious defeats and injuries at the end of their careers. He is not going to let them talk him down and is willing to forgo friendships.

He said, "I have never called Brook before because he is my friend." He can also have it, since he's dropping my name in.

"I grew up watching them both, and even as a child I was a huge fan of both. I would love to fight them. It would be an enormous domestic fight.

"I would fight either. If they gave me a choice, I would toss them a coin. I couldn't care more.

"Brook was knocked out by a jab against Terence Crawford, and the other one got bingoed during his last fights. He hasn't boxed featherweights like Billy Dib since then."
