Ngannou's Journey and Departure from UFC

The road to the Ngannou vs Fury fight began when Francis Ngannou left the UFC earlier this year after his contract expired. As a result, he was stripped of his heavyweight championship title. The Cameroon grappler then signed with the Professional Fighters League, leading to a series of barbed remarks between him and UFC president Dana White.

Praise for Ngannou's Boxing Performance

Although White has previously stated that Ngannou would not return to the UFC, he recently praised the fighter's performance against Tyson Fury. While he still doesn't want Ngannou back in the UFC, White commended him for going 10 rounds with the boxing champion.

White said, "The fact that he went 10 rounds with Tyson Fury is crazy. It's unbelievable."

When asked about the possibility of other UFC talents crossing over into boxing, White acknowledged that everyone has to do what's best for themselves and their families. While he didn't provide specific names, he hinted that more fighters may make the move in the future.

White stated, "At some point, everybody is going to move on. Everybody has to do what's right for them and make money for their families, so whatever they've got to do, they've got to do."
