Joe Cusumano was brutally defeated by Daniel Dubois with a first round knockout

Dubois was in new surroundings when he entered the fight. But it was the same story as before the bell rang.

23-year-old Brit made it 16 KOs in 17 victories and won his second victory since November's defeat to Joe Joyce, 35.

Dubois was accompanied by Tommy Fury (22-year-old Love Island star), who defeated Anthony Taylor (32) earlier in the evening.

The soft-spoken, but hard-hitting Londoner proclaimed himself in the US in fine style.

Cusumano was 19-3 and looked like he had been defeated during the first meaningful trade when a Dubois right-hand over the top dropped him.

The American only managed to beat the referees count to nine. But, the signs were there.

Cusumano was backed against the ropes, and Cusumano executed a huge double jab. A right hand scored another knockdown.

The count was again beaten but Dubois smelled blood and had a right hand, while Cusumano sat down on the ropes to close the show.

He called Trevor Bryan, 32 years old, after the win.

Dubois stated: "Look at my now, I'm back, and I'm ready for go.

"Whoever is the next. Trevor Bryan. He has a title that I want. But who? "Come one, come all!"
