DAVID HAYE was warned to behave after Tyson Fury's surprise call.
After cruising to victory against Joe Fournier, The Hayemaker made an unexpected beeline for WBC heavyweight champion.
The Hayemaker won a comfortable points win over
his billionaire friend.
Haye, 40 years old, seemed like he had it when he faced his billionaire friend, but Ricky Hatton, boxing legend, has told him to forget about facing Gypsy King.
The Hitman stated to The Metro that he didn't think Tyson Fury would take David Haye's call very seriously.
"David Haye, a friend of mine. I think the best of him. But it was evident in his last fights against Tony Bellew [in 2017/18] that his best days were clearly behind him.
"Tyson Fury's last fight was the best in the game!" That can't happen.
"Evander Holyfield said he wanted to fight Mike Tyson next. David Haye wants Tyson Fury to fight.
"I believe the world of David Haye. But sorry, no. They must be saved from themselves.
"Boxer's health should always be the priority. We are putting boxers at serious risk if we allow Tyson Fury and Evander Holyfield fight Mike Tyson.
"So, I don't care if it is their decision. Boxers need to be saved for their health.
These fighters look good in the gym but not in the ring. David Haye is in great shape, he looks like a true athlete, and it is clear that he does feel great.
"But he fought Tony Bellew some years back and it was obvious that he was past his prime.
"I don’t believe anything has changed since he was out. Deontay Wilder was just defeated by Tyson Fury in the most impressive performance of his career. David, you have to be yourself."
After losing consecutive bouts to Brit Bellew, Haye quit boxing in June 2018.
Team Fury will not entertain the idea to fight Haye until he defeats an 'rated fighter.
Frank Warren, promoter of iFL TV said: "I like David. David is someone I have a lot respect for.
He's 40 years old. Although he isn't a youngster [like Evander Holyfield], he's not at 58 years of age.
"He's had some serious injuries, but he said so.
"Certainly against Tony Bellew. These injuries were obvious and he shouldn’t have been in that ring.
"I don’t know if he has gotten rid of the injuries.
"I think he is calling out Tyson, because Tyson and him - let's be clear - would be a big fight. That's undisputed.
"But I think that he needs to do more before we can talk about Tyson.
"For number one, he would have to be rated. To be rated, you would have to fight a rated opponent.
