In tribute to her life, eight bouts will be held, beginning next month.
He stated, "It was important to me to take up the boxing challenge because it is my daughter's heroic fight against cancer for 8 months.
"So, I want to honor those 8 months with eight bouts in the boxing ring. I made a promise that I would always be her best daddy. I will honor her amazing time here and fight until the end for the families of other children who are fighting the cancer monster.
"I am fighting because my girl had to, and for all the children still fighting this monster.
"So I will fight for the cause I am passionate about, raising awareness for childhood cancer, and also to show people that you can overcome any obstacle you face, no matter how difficult it may seem.

Korleone will be back in the boxing ring this time and will fight Minikon.
