DEONTAY WILDER says Anthony Joshua has a "serious stamina problem" that "ran out gas" against Oleksandr Uzyk.
AJ was defeated by Usyk first in September 2021, but was defeated again in Saudi Arabia last month.
Oleksandr Usyk beat Anthony Joshua for the second time
Joshua, 32, was able to push Ukraine's 35-year-old star pound-for pound all the way, but was beaten by Joshua on a split-decision.
Wilder, 36-year-old former WBC champion, put the loss down at AJ's inability keep up with the pace.
He said to ESNews that he has a serious stamina issue.
"We knew he would be cautious about what had happened before, and as you can see, it was very careful of him throwing punches or other things like that.
"So, the best man won that evening. Joshua did exactly as we expected and ran out of gas.
After consecutive defeats Joshua now faces a rebuilding task that his promoter Eddie Hearn hopes will begin in December.
Wilder, 36, will be back in New York on October 15, against Robert Helenius (38).
WBA, IBF, and WBO champion Usyk will unify his belts alongside Tyson Fury's WBC in an historic heavyweight decider.
Wilder, 34, has backed Fury, an old rival, to be the first to rule with all four heavyweight straps.
When predicting the outcome, he referenced the Gypsy King’s knockout victory over Steve Cunningham.
He stated that Fury was too large for him. He has one thing that he can count on: his size.
"I see that fight as a Cunningham, someone who dominates him, but when he gets tired, it's he that looks lean and all s***y like that.
"But everything is possible, you cannot look beyond that. It's impossible to overlook Usyk's ability to maneuver around the ring with skill and grace.
